Looking ahead in 2018

Posted on Wednesday, January 3rd 2018

Things move fast in this industry. As we said goodbye to 2017 some may have felt it was a time to reflect on the great strides made, plus the huge milestones reached during another very successful year for Traffix. However, we as a business have never been one to rest on our laurels, so, unsurprisingly, we are only looking forward.

Our expansion plan for the business is gathering further momentum as the third depot in our portfolio “Traffix West” is now fully operational. Located in Telford, Shropshire, this new depot opens up a wealth of opportunities for us to offer our unrivalled services into new areas of the country.

Newark based Traffix East, continues to go from strength to strength. We opened this depot in 2011 and have since established Traffix as a major force for the provision of traffic management in the East of England. I expect us to make yet further inroads over the coming twelve months.

We expanded our headquarters and major projects facility in Solihull during 2017. This purpose built site also houses our utilities division. Situated over three acres, this depot is ideally positioned close to the major motorway network allowing Traffix to cover a large section of the Midlands network whilst meeting our contractual two hour SLA’s. Furthermore, we can now accentuate our high speed and trunk roads service, offering an economic and efficient solution to our client’s high-speed temporary traffic management requirements. Full details of our depot coverage can be found at

As a company we recognise the importance of having the right people in all positions throughout our team, it’s what we call being a “Traffix person”. To this end we were delighted to honor our commitment to the Armed Forces through the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant in November 2017. This demonstrates our recognition of the value that armed forces personnel, and their families, can bring to the workforce and the wider community. We already employ former military personnel and we look forward to welcoming reinforcements during this year.

Ever since we started, Traffix has built a reputation for innovation and a refreshing approach to temporary traffic and event management; our recent introduction of solar powered signs is testament to this ethos. We’ll keep innovating that’s for sure, maintaining our reputation as the leading traffic and events management company.

I wish you all a very successful 2018.
