Rain didn't stop play.

We opened our doors to the public on Saturday 8th June for our annual open day. Despite the fact that it rained the whole time, a good day was had by all.

Holding this event allows us the opportunity to demonstrate what we do for the benefit of the public at large, but also it’s a great chance to talk to people who wish to further progress or start their career in traffic and events management.

Traffix Recruitment

Our commitment to recruiting former Armed Forces personnel was reinforced by a whole battalion of soldiers and equipment. Members of the Fusiliers, Signals, Parachute and Catering Regiments treated visitors to a variety of wonderful demonstrations. They say that an army marches on its stomach and judging by the queue for food in the catering tent our boys and girls march in good spirits.

Away from the outdoor displays there was a chance for people to escape the rain and pop inside to watch the latest in 3D traffic management courtesy of our partner the Adjuvo Group. Our recruitment stand was certainly busy and we’re delighted to say that eight new traffic operatives were recruited on the day, six for our Bickenhill depot and two for our Telford depot.

Emma Fisher is Human Resources Manager at Traffix, she commented...”The scope of our work is rapidly expanding which means that we’re need to increase our team. We’re always keen to speak to anyone who sees Traffix as the company to further or start their career with.”

We would like to thank all that braved the rain and helped to make our day a great success. Our special thanks go to those from the Armed Forces for their support.
