We are delighted to have received awards for collaboration and zero harm from Balfour Beatty Living Places (BBLP) at their recent Supply Chain Awards event.
Traffix and BBLP work together on the HMC16 Contract and collaborate relentlessly both from an operational and safety perspective. Works are carefully managed; we have a very open and transparent approach to delivery.
Traffix Project Manager Martin Townsend leads from an operational perspective and is engaged throughout planning and delivery stages of the works. BBLP praised Martin for his receptive attitude to last minute changes and observations raised on our team’s performance. BBLP also recognised our proactive manner in dealing with issues arising on site, and how quickly we react to resolve matters.
We have recently teamed up with Prevent, a company set up to support mental health issues within the construction industry. We introduced BBLP to Samantha Brettell, founder of Prevent, she gave a speech at their recent SHELT meeting. The BBLP team feels that Traffix understands the direction that the Contract wants to take from a Safety, Delivery and Health point of view. We are actively involved in the SHELT agenda and are always keen to support BBLP’s initiatives
Kerry Draper, Traffix Health, Safety and Facilities Director commented: “I would like to take this opportunity of expressing our heartfelt thanks to BBLP for voting for Traffix in two prestigious award categories. Together with BBLP we will strive to further develop our innovative partnership as we move forwards with this contract.”
