Traffix Limited are pleased to announce the completion of a management buy-in involving 5 existing members of the management team.

Gary is now joined by 4 new shareholders: – Stuart Morrissey (Managing Director), Derek Vinning (Operations Director), Kerry Draper (Health, Safety and Facilities Director) and Simon Ashley (Area Director England North).
This inward investment will enable the team to deliver its exciting plans to broaden Traffix’s service offering within other disciplines of Traffic Management. Additionally, the company expects to expand its coverage across the UK. Traffix has recently opened a depot in Greater Manchester to service existing commitments in the North West and to facilitate exciting new projects.
Gary Horsburgh commented: “I am thrilled that our current board of directors have now become shareholders of the business. The hard work and dedication shown by the team made my decision to invite them to be joint owners a very easy one. This is an exciting time for Traffix, ever since I formed the company in 2006 our innovative approach to Traffic Management has set us apart. I can only see the business going from strength to strength and am looking forward to the next chapter in our story.”
Stuart Morrissey commented: “Gary should be incredibly proud of the legacy that he has built. I joined the company in 2008 and have thoroughly enjoyed being part of our management team, which in my opinion, is the best in the business. Being appointed Managing Director in 2021 was a career highlight for me, however, becoming a shareholder is the icing on the cake. We have a fantastic team of people throughout Traffix, I am super confident we have a very bright future.”
Derek Vinning added: “I would like to thank Gary for this fantastic opportunity. Over the past 17 years I’ve seen us grow beyond all recognition and am proud to have played my part. I am looking forward to the next phase as we expand into new areas, I have every faith that our fantastic team will yet again go above and beyond to deliver on our plans.”
Kerry Draper commented: “A big thank you to Gary Horsburgh for giving me the opportunity to join the board after 10 years’ service at Traffix. We have a fantastic board of directors with a wealth of skills and knowledge, backed by a loyal, committed tier of managers. The buy-in confirms that we are confident in the future of Traffix, it’s a great opportunity to grow the business.”
Simon Ashley added: “I joined Traffix in 2011 as an operative with no prior Traffic Management experience, it just shows that hard work and dedication really does pay dividends. I’m looking forward to building on our success and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Thank you to Gary and the team for giving me this amazing opportunity.”
