In the fast-paced world we live in it’s not often that we take time out to reflect on what we’ve achieved. However, I was very proud to inform our team as we broke up for Christmas that 2021 had been our busiest year to date. To borrow a line from Steve Jobs: “Great things in business are never done by one person; they’re done by a team of people.”
Growth and market share are again top of our agenda in 2022. A healthy order book already gives me cause for optimism that this year could be even better. Our Major Projects teams will be busy supporting the infrastructure of HS2 throughout the Midlands plus many other projects such as the A45 Sprint corridor in Birmingham ready for this year’s Commonwealth Games. Staying with the sporting theme, our Events teams will be playing their part during matchdays at Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City.
Sustainability is an extremely urgent and universal concern and the time to act is now. We believe Traffic Management businesses should put sustainability at their core, which means embracing different operating models and emerging technologies, which when adopted across the industry will help to grow sustainably. We want to be part of a sustainable future; this year will see us take further steps in order to reduce our footprint.
